Sr. Programmer/Analyst Store Operations
Description: Work with the Director of IT Services to support 130+ stores.
Requirements:
· 6 year experience in retail IT programming and support
· Advanced SQL skills
· Hands on experience supporting payment cards technologies
· Experience with Remoteware and/or other polling services
· Working knowledge of various Windows Operating Systems in order to do installation and support.
· Ability to troubleshoot technical problems in a methodical way and teach others to do the same.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills including follow-up
· Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively on a team and self-motivate
· Able to communicate with the business users and the store personnel
· Able to document procedures in order to communicate processes
· Able to be on-call and be available after-hours
Preferred:
· Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Knowledge of AS/400
· Knowledge of retail applications such as productivity, timekeeping, workforce management
· Experience supporting web based POS systems
· Familiarity with SDLC processes
